Hi, my name is Allen and I grew up in Havre de Grace Maryland. At 12 years old I started fishing on the Susquehanna flats for giant stripers. My first striper was caught using a topwater wooden popper. Striper fishing with topwater wooden fishing lures is a fascinating experience. The excitement and explosiveness of the surface strike can be very addicting. Then at age 15 I started designing and making my own topwater poppers.  As time went on I was making quality, handmade wooden fishing lures and sharing them with local fishermen. To brand my handiwork I created the striperlife name and logo. I had my logo screen printed on t-shirts to promote my lures and my passion for striper fishing. When my lure business would slow down on the off season, my t-shirt business would pick up. During the winter months I was creating limited edition designs for my shirts. I now have repeat customers who truly appreciate and enjoy my designs and tell me they like exclusive shirts, rather than mass-produced items. Twice a year I will design limited edition numbered shirts and lures. When my limited edition shirts and lures sell out, I retire them.  I've made the decision to put 110% into my lifestyle apparel line and to see if I can build a soulful little business.  I'd like to thank everyone for supporting the striperlife brand and being a fan.
